Role Overview
The Vice President – Finance is a senior leadership role responsible for driving financial planning, analysis, and strategy across the organization. As a global leader, the VP of finance will provide strategic financial insights, ensure robust financial processes, and lead the finance team to deliver on organizational goals. Manage a team of 5 members reporting to this position. The role reports to the Global CFO and works closely with senior management to support decision-making and business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead the global FP&A function, providing accurate and timely financial forecasts, budgeting, and long-term planning.
 - Conduct in-depth financial analysis to guide business decisions, identify risks, and capitalize on opportunities.
 - Drive cost optimization strategies while supporting revenue growth initiatives.
 
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to align financial strategy with organizational goals.
 - Provide actionable insights through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business case evaluations.
 - Offer guidance on M&A activities, capital allocation, and investment decisions.
 
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead and inspire a high-performing global finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
 - Develop talent within the team, ensuring succession planning and capability building.
 - Promote collaboration across regional finance teams to ensure alignment and best practice sharing.
 
Financial Governance and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to global financial regulations, reporting standards, and company policies.
 - Oversee the preparation of financial reports for stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
 - Partner with internal and external auditors to maintain transparency and governance standards.
 
Operational Excellence
- Drive process improvements and technology adoption to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
 - Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support business stability and growth.
 - Lead initiatives to integrate financial processes across regions, ensuring consistency and scalability.
 
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA/CPA preferred.
 
- 15+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
 
- Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, with experience in a global, multi-regional organization.
 
- Proven ability to lead and develop diverse finance teams across geographies.
 
- Excellent understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.
 
- Experience in industrial products or manufacturing sectors preferred.
 
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
