Position: Global Chief Commercial Officer for a Leading Technology Company in Data & Analytics

Role Overview:
The Global Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial strategy and driving revenue growth on a global scale. As a strategic leader, the CCO will oversee the complete Go to Market strategy which includes marketing, sales, communications, growth and alliances, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and objectives. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned executive with strong leadership skills, strategic acumen, and a passion for sustainability and innovation.
This role reports to the CEO, who is a well known figure in the industry. As a member of the executive council, CCO is envisioned to play a key role partnering with the CEO and rest of the executive team to drive the growth agenda to the next level.
Ideal pick for this role will be someone who has lived and worked in various geographies globally and has led global teams in sales, marketing and communication. Exposure to both B2B and B2C industry will be ideal but not a must.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with the company’s mission and objectives.
2. Lead and mentor a high-performing team across marketing, sales, communications, growth and alliances in various regions.
3. Drive revenue growth through innovative marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships, and business development initiatives.
4. Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing plans to enhance the company’s brand and promote its services globally.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to identify market trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.
6. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, partners, and industry influencers.
7. Represent the company as a thought leader and advocate for data, analytics, and sustainability at external forums, conferences, and industry events.
8. Monitor and analyze market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
9. Ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across all communication channels and platforms.
10. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in commercial processes, systems, and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Proven track record of success in senior leadership roles with a focus on Marketing and Sales.
- Extensive experience in a global environment, ideally within the data analytics or technology sector.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving revenue targets and business objectives.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Passion for sustainability and leveraging data analytics to drive meaningful change.
Compensation:
Salary for this role will be in the range of SGD $450K to $650K per annum including variable components. While the package for this role is local, our client is willing to support relocation for ideal candidate. The role will be based in Singapore with frequent travel that such senior level role may demand.
